Thinking is a good start.   Listening is valuable.  Conversation is headed in the right direction.  But, nothing really changes till we take action----until we just DIVE in.  It’s true about everything.  And it’s true about faith.  Faith as a theory can exist in our heads.  But when faith becomes action, it becomes discipleship---actively following Christ.  And that’s how missions can play a role in your life.  Missions is one way to put your faith into action, to let go of the shore, and just DIVE in.  By letting go and trusting, following and serving and offering yourself so that others might know God, you in turn find life in dimensions that were otherwise unknown to you.

DIVE is the place for missions---for conversations, for information, for challenge, for understanding and vision, and for avenues of active involvement.  DIVE is a place to meet and a place to ask your questions and get answers from people who know and can help.  DIVE is a place to get started.

DIVE is also a place for giving---here and now.  And there are two ways. 

1) Browse through the SILENT AUCTION of artifacts brought back by our summer missionaries.  Bid often and bid high.  Bidding will end just before Gathering on Saturday evening.  Be sure to stop by and pay for your items as soon as Gathering is over.  Each item will have a prayer card that will tell you something about the people of that place and how you can effectively pray for them.  You not only get a really cool item.  You also get a constant reminder of people who need prayer and a constant reminder that God is also calling you forward.

Every penny will be used by students on mission.  Please give generously.
